- Annotation: The article presents a study of consumer preferences for “smart” sportswear. It examines the types of electrodes and methods of integrating them into garments. A survey of consumer preferences for clothing was conducted, which identified the main characteristics of a “smart” sports T-shirt: lightness, elasticity of the material, ease of care, durability, and price. The most desirable features, in descending order, include: heart rate monitoring, calorie count, a timer to regulate training time, and muscle fatigue monitoring. When asked about ways to integrate electronics into clothing, more than half of the respondents were positive about the presence of removable elements. The survey results proved the demand for sports products with built-in electronics.
