Annotation: The authors of the article explore the use of optical illusions in jewellery design to increase the visual size of the insert. The methodology includes a survey of respondents with the provision of images of illusions. The results revealed the key elements of the composition that influence the perception of size. Based on them, recommendations are given to designers on the use of optical effects.
