Annotation: This article provides an analytical justification for the choice of numerical values of the parameters of a mathematical model of the volumetric density of yarn from the degree of its twisting in order to optimise the sensitivity of the mathematical apparatus used in the model. The analysis of the properties of the functional dependence of the volumetric density of yarn on the twist coefficient for the absence of function breaks in the range of the most common values of the independent variable is also carried out. The scientific novelty and interest of this work lies in solving the problem of choosing the most optimal values of parameters used in a mathematical model to achieve its maximum sensitivity to changes in an independent factor (twist coefficient). The main objective of this analytical study was to prove the adequate performance of the mathematical model proposed by the author (1) over the entire range of applied values of the twist coefficient and the absence of discontinuities in the proposed mathematical model.
