Annotation: Assessing consumer satisfaction is crucial for ensuring product quality and competitiveness in the market. To this end, this study employed a quantitative assessment method based on a consumer survey. The results of the survey analysis made it possible to determine quality indicators for personal fall-protective equipment based on consumer opinions. The requirements for personal fall protection equipment include as follows: bright colour; provision of reflective elements; secure fit on the body; reliability of fasteners; moisture resistance of the material; and maintenance of the material’s elasticity at operating temperatures below 0 °C. The identified consumer properties will enable manufacturers to improve the quality of personal fall protection equipment and enhance their competitiveness in the Russian and global markets.
