- Annotation: The article deals with the dynamics of surface relief height reduction of cast samples made of different jewellery alloys of 14Kgold and 22Кsilver. The increase in the rate of relief height reduction from the alloy hardness is determined in the following series: white gold – red gold – lemon gold – silver. It is shown that sharper relief areas decrease at a higher rate compared to flat areas. The mass reduction of the samples is insignificant due to the peculiarities of surface smoothing during galting operations. Recommendations on designing 3D models of products in order to preserve their design during manufacturing are given.
