Annotation: The issues of collectible design, its definition, status and forms are among the most relevant in the development of the new stage of design. Having begun its formation with the phenomenon of art design, to-day it has become as close as possible to decorative and applied art. This condition is fixed by the use of craft technologies and materials in design, traditionally used to create works of decorative art, in particular author's textiles in the technique of Jacquard weaving. The purpose of this study is to analyse the causes of this phenomenon and to fix the current state of collectible design associated with its use of decorative and applied art resources as a tool for creating a unique design project.
